I have an issue that is a gnawing at me. There is a folder that I try to rename.
As you can see, the "BE" is not right. I choose "rename" and make it "Be" but it just won't stick! I don't know what is going on with that. When I look at the folder in Windows Explorer it looks like this -
So, the folder is properly named. MM just won't reflect this. What the devil is going on?
Renaming something in the node.

Windows doesn't differentiate case.
Are you renaming in the Location or My Computer node? You could add an extra letter when changing case, then renaming again removing this extra letter.

Re: Renaming something in the node.
Thanks Lowlander. I was renaming it in the "Location" node. I renamed it using "BeEst" as per your recommendation, which stuck. That change was also reflected in Windows Explorer. Then I changed it to "Best". Now it is the way I want it. Computers, go figure. Sometimes they are like little kids and you have to fool them into something. Weird. Thanks again. Now I can sleep better.
