Would really like to be able to hide as well as delete duplicate tracks. I appreciate that the duplicate tracks feature lists all instances of duplicated tracks and you would then need to select which to hide (or delete).
You'd also need a 'show hidden tracks' feature with the ability to restore them to 'displayed'.
For me this is the only area where MusicBee is better than MusicMonkey. I was astonished to find that with some 14,000 tracks from Various Artists CDs a third were duplicates. Don't mind keeping the tracks on my computer but not to have them show in the MusicMonkey library would be good.
Thanks
Kelvin

Collections already allow you to Filter the Library. You'll need to use some tag (like a Custom field) and a value to filter files on.

Re: Ability to hide duplicate tracks
Look like I need to amend the File Properties of every track setting Custom 1 to say 'show'
Then in Collections / Music add to Search Criteria a new value Custom 1 = show
every track will continue to be displayed
Any track I don't want displayed change to Custom 1 to 'hide'
Set up a second Music Collection with search criteria Custom 1 = hide and I will be able to view all the hidden tracks with the option to change them back to 'show'
Not quite sure how I switch between viewing the 2 music collections though?
