It displays album art if the art is embedded in the mp3 files, but for older mp3 files I have a jpg file (always called cover.jpg) in the same directory as the mp3s - MMA does not display any of these album covers. I've noticed people with a similar problem being told to sync MMA with MMW, but this seems odd since my other player, USB Audio Player PRO, has no problem detecting and displaying these cover art files. I mean, does MMA not look in the folder containing the mp3s for jpg files, yet syncing with MMW will get it to do so?

I tried it on one file, restarted my tablet and re synced MMA, but unfortunately it's still not showing the cover art

Try to Use Options -> Scan for changes.

I'm sorry - I said re-synced but I meant re-scanned - I did exactly what you just suggested.

Can you please open one of Track Properties (Browse thru Albums Icon) that do not have correct artwork and send us debug log from About MediaMonkey Dialog. Write down Log ID here so that we can track it?

I hope I did it right! The Log ID is VQTLSCXZVB

Can you confirm that albums with jpg file are e.g. "Onyx", "Rainbow Melodies", "Further", "Deadly Scenes" etc.?
Did you check by some android file browser, that jpg file really exists in a folder?

Yes, I used my browser to verify for several albums that the cover.jpg files are indeed in the same folder as the mp3 files; also, my other player, USB Audio Player PRO, has no problem detecting and displaying these cover art files.

I really appreciate your help in this; I've been using MMW for years and love it, but I want to start managing my music from my tablet instead of my laptop. Naturally I turned to MMA; this is the only issue in which MMA falls short of my expectations so I look forward to its resolution.

Do all the music files in the folder with the Artwork file belong the same Album (as seen by MediaMonkey)?

Yes; each album has its own unique folder containing the MP3s and the associated cover.jpg file for that album.
