How to get music playing on my PC

Hi,
Probably a stupid question but anyway, here it is:
I used mediamonkey on my PC first to play songs, worked fine. Then I added also some steaming stuff Upnp .
Now, if the other device is not online and if I want to play a song , I get the following error: "The <...>player is turned of or inaccessible.
That is true, but I do not want to stream it, but listen it on my PC.
I have tried to change everything that may have to do with the UPnP setup but is there a simple way to just get the music playing on my PC?
