list/column view - tags missing, bugs

There are still basic tagging fields missing in the column view.

E.g. there is Original Artist and Original Title are there Original lyricist is missing.

In addition when having selected more columns than can be shown in width there is no horizontal scroll bar showing up.

And the selection is not saved after restart.

When showing "Music/All tracks" you can choose the views:

• Simplified list:
  ==> no column chooser, no horizontal scrollbar
• List view and List filter
  ==> you can choose all columns, including "Original Artist" and "Original Title", but "Original Lyricist" is missing

Is the view going to be saved in the final version - as it is not saved at the moment..

and I filed an issue long time ago (bacl for v4) for including all available fields for selection as columns. It's a pitty that eg. Original Lyricist again was ignored. What's the point to choose some and not all of the available fields?

I am not having problems adding columns and saving the layout. Newest alpha on windows 10

ok, do I have to save the layout somehow?

In v4 it just remembered the last layout - there was no need to save it - and next start was using the previous configured layout.

So far under Windows 7, newest alpha MM does not save anything and starts with the same default layout each time..

Original Lyricist added, thanks for the report. It was only omitted.

I do not have problems with layout and columns saving/restoring. Is the application closed correctly, i.e. does not hang in RAM? Try to run application, do only one layout change, close application, check RAM in task manager, and start again. MM5 saves layout state to Portable/persistent.json.
