I've noticed that Windows thinks some of my music has no rating, although I've been through in MediaMonkey and rated everything, and synchronised the tags back to ID3. I noticed all the problematic files were .m4a files I'd bought from iTunes. Does MediaMonkey not synchronise tags into m4a, or is Windows finding a second stale copy of the metadata in those files and using that?

MediaMonkey does write Rating for M4A files, but it maybe a different tag then Windows reads, if Windows can read it at all: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... erties/4.0
