Love Discogs. Getting a new error I've not seen before:

Error #5 Microsoft \VBScript runtime error
Invalid procedure call or argument 'Left'
File "...AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\MetalArchivesWebTag.vbs" Line:7074, Column 7

Using Windows 10, MediaMonkey V4.1.31.1919, Discogs V5.8.4

Occurred when manual search with title "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Options set to "Metals-Archive Tagger". The default option "Discogs" doesn't have a problem.

Hey,

i'm happy someone use the Metal-Archives Tagger :-D

Could you please send me the Log-File after you get the error message? You can find it here: c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Discogs_Script.log

I just reinstalled the last version of MM4. Two problems I just noticed. First one is I only see 4 options instead of 5 for custom fields 1-5. I do not see a way of assigning the grouping field to a custom field. The second issue is I'm trying to match, with Discogs, the Album ABBA Voyage https://www.discogs.com/release/20867491-ABBA-Voyage

This specific album has a different cover and is a Target Exclusive release. It will not pull into the list of available albums. Can you please look into why this is happening?

Thank you so much for your time!!!

In the options menu from Discogs Tagger you set where you want to save the release-number or the catalog number, or... from discogs. You have to set 4 fields and you are able to use 5 custom fields.
The Grouping field is assigned to the Grouping field from Discogs.

If you can't find a specific album, you can paste the url from discogs into the upper textline in the Discogs Tagger. The Tagger will load the album.

I know you probably get tired of answering this question.

Any prospects of getting a version of the Discogs Tagger for MM 5?

I realized you have put a lot of work into the version for MM 4 and have no idea how difficult it would be.

Thanks for keeping the existing current!

Hello, I am a new user of this addon and really like it a lot so far, although I have one question that hopefully someone can answer. I notice that the tagger incorrectly labels some of the files with the wrong titles. So for instance, say I have a song on my drive called song 1, then after using the tagger it will title it as song 2 eventhough the filename is song 1. My question is what am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

(I wanted to add images here, but apparently I don't have the rights to do that so.....)

So am I using the settings incorrectly? Is this something that I can fix by changing the settings?

Hey, welcome to MediaMonkey !

If you want to tag a release (CD, MC, LP,..) you have to mark the tracks and start the tagger. The tagger sort the selected tracks with the track numbers and search for the release on discogs. It is important, that your selected tracks have correct track numbers and the same amount of tracks as the release. The tagger use the name of track 1 on the release to tag the track 1 of your files, track 2 for track 2 of your files, and so on.
So, if the track position of the titles didn't match , you have the described problem.
