I know the wiki page about moving MM to a new computer; my need is slightly different, anyway I just want to be sure I'm not missing something.
I need to change the OS on my PC from Win 7 x86 to x64 and off course I'd like to preserve all my MM settings, (Music library is on a NAS and it will remain the same) so:
- I made a copy of AppData/Roaming/Mediamoney files
- Using regedit I exported the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/MediaMonkey settings to a file
Now, after OS and MM reinstall and restoring my settings, should I expect that my MM will be EXACTLY the same as before?
By the way,
- there area many MM settings in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, should i bother about them? (I think no, but who knows...)
- I have a lifetime gold licence, should I insert my code before restoring registries or it doesn't matter?
Thanks...

Re: Saving MM4 settings before O.S. reinstall
After Registry import in case that MM is not already registered.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT should not be important especially as they are mostly related to system association that is recreated on MM install.
Suggestion: Just in case start Mm install RUN as Administrator.

Thanks Peke.
For the record, it worked with no problem; importing the registry I also restored my registration data.
