IPOD - All Songs Not Listed

My media library is around 8,000 songs, but when I hit the summary button under the IPOD plug in it shows only 4,600 songs. What am I doing wrong? I have only mp3 and wma files.

Do you have your entire library setup to synch with the iPod? If not, perhaps you only have 4600 songs in playlists set to synch with the iPod.

The iPod can't play .wma files, perhaps that's the problem? Do you have 3,400 .wma files?

I do have that many wma files. Is there a conversion program for the files?

There's a converter built right into MM, just go to tools > convert audio format.
