Great program!

Using MM 2.0 build 1.543
Nero 6.0

When trying to burn a CD with MM, after selecting burning options I get the following error. I have tried this with 20 random tracks sith no success........

"This kind of audio conversion not implmemented yet.
Channels 2 (required 2)
Bits per sample 32 (required 16)

Error number 3

thanks,

CD-Audio And File Format Incompatibe

Post by Peke »

lets see it in the different way. Most of recording software do audio conversion while burning like Roxion WinOnCD or Goldenhawks CDRWin, the reson for that is to support CD-Audio Format which is 44khz 16Bit Stereo Audio. I had same problem as I hav efiles in Various formats from mono to 32Bit :((( I do not use Nere Burning Rom cose of that and other things.

BTW The idea of audio conversion within MM will be more welcome but as I see it will be available only when Jiri writes his own burning part for MM :((
This is only my point of view based on logic. Sorry if I in any way dissapointed you.

I am still having the same problem (as stated above).

Using MM 2.0 (non-beta).

Can't burn a damn thing.

Burning with other applications works fine.

any ideas?

burning problems @ 32-bits

Post by rusty »

My guess is that the MAD plug-in is configured for 32-bit audio resolution and since MediaMonkey doesn't yet support 32-bit conversions/audio leveling, you're facing this problem.

2 ways to test this hypothesis:
1) try burning an ogg track (instead of an MP3 track)
2) try switching MAD to 16-bits

Thanks Rusty!

It worked! Changing the MAD to 16 bits did the trick!

32-bit audio conversion fixed in 2.02 beta

Post by rusty »

This problem has been fixed in 2.02 beta (you can now set MAD to 24 or 32-bits without a problem).
