Mouse Wheel does not work as expected

Steps to repeat:
1. Enter search word in the search field
2. Press ENTER
3. Get a large result list that does not fit completly in the window
4. Now I intuitively use the mouse wheel to scroll in the list (my girlfriend did the same), however the mouse focus is still in the search field and a different search word is used and the search is started again
