Check For Updates not working

Does anyone know why the Check For Updates function does not work? As you can see from my example below, my MMW beta build is out of date, but the Check For Updates thinks it is the latest version. Shouldn't this be picking up beta build 3005?

2024 builds aren't yet pushed to beta update check.

Will they be at some point? And why not now? I am not sure I have ever seen this feature work at all.
