Is it possible that the latest beta v3003 could affect DBPowerAMP CD Ripper? I just used it yesterday - 1 day ago with no trouble. Now, it is hanging when I am trying rip a CD? Is it possible that there is some updated or new component(s) running in the background? Also, MM5 has no trouble recognizing the CD.

Is this only happening when MediaMonkey is running, or does it also happen with MediaMonkey closed?

Yes. It happens when MM is closed. That's why I wondered if something in MM was running in the background? It was just yesterday, I did a successful rip with CD Ripper.

Hi,
Please note that both
DBPowerAMP and
AccurateRip.com sites are down ATM.

If MM isn't running, then it's likely not an MM caused issue.

Thanks. That would do it. How is it that MM5 was able to grab album info if CD Ripper can't? Different database?

Yes, MediaMonkey only use AccurateRip to verify the Rip, but CD data is obtained from MusicBrainz.

Thanks. It's good that we have such a diverse membership here. At least one person will have a solution.
