Hi !
would anybody know of a "Song Previewer" addon or functionnality for MM5 ?
This used to exist for MM4 (https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... previewer/), and was of great use to me , to get a fast review of a selected list of songs (allowing to listen, say to 10-15 secs of each Title, starting say, at 25% of the length, before skipping to the next Title).
note: with "autotag" selected, this also allowed to automatically add Lyrics or Artwork to a selected list of Titles.
If it doesn't exist, would be a great functionnality to "re-have" !
Many thanks !
nb: although the name is similar, this has nothing to do with the "Preview" window in MM5
[edit: a similar request was posted a while ago - although I'm unsure whether the "easy to port" suggestion is something I could do (as a simple MM5 user - Gold is that's of any use), or whether this was meant for developers. Many thanks !

sidenote: the request/usecase seems to come up regularly, over different posts over time:

...
but doesn't seem to have been implemented/developed as MM5 addon or functionnality (I hope to be wrong on this ! )
know of a "Song Previewer" addon or functionnality for MM5 ?

I agree this would be a great addition and should be quite easy to implement..
Either by setting startTime/stopTime temporarily within the track object: https://www.mediamonkey.com/docs/api/cl ... _startTime
or rather better to use player seek: https://www.mediamonkey.com/docs/api/cl ... eekMSAsync

Great, thanks Ludek.
Maybe we'll see this in a subsequent release
Should I log this somewhere for later reference/should someone implement it some day ?
Cheers !
