Play Count Transfer in MMW5?

Is there any intention of adding the ability to transfer play history/count/metadata between tracks in MMW5?
This was done via add-in in MMW4 - it was one of the more hyper-specific but intensely useful tools I used, but I don't think that plug in was ever made for MMW5, and given that the last update was in 2014, I can't imagine it's going to make a comeback. I find it helpful because now that I have a lot more space available and better speakers, I am swapping low quality mp3's from eons ago with better files. Would be cool to be able to transfer play history from the old file to the new file in MMW5 again.
