Send album to Android crashes MM [#20544]

v2829. MM5 attempts to send file then crashes(white screen) before completing the first file transfer. Problem is persistent.

Hi,
Are you sending tracks over USB? If Yes it is possible that MTP driver crashes and Locks MM.

When this happen try to Send/Copy number of files using FIle explorer to Android device.

I'm using a USB connection. If i Send files via Location -> local disk, transfer works ok. This involves an extra step of course. I would prefer to do the transfer directly from the MM library.
Is the FTP problem a windows or an MM issue? (or both)

However if MediaMonkey itself crashes, please capture the crash in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

which seems a regression introduced between builds 2819 and 2020, solving via eSupport ticket with another user experiancing the same issue

FYI - When i check my phone i see that the files & metadata were transferred ok. So it seems that MM crashes after completing the transfer?
