Related to syncing between MMW and MMA.
There will be times when I remove certain songs or albums from my library simply because I don't like them anymore. I also want to maintain the same songs and albums between MMW and MMA.
iTunes generally goes with the portable device imitating the library on your PC or Mac. If I want to do the same thing, these are the settings I've set up.
Server content: checkmarks for Music and Playlists (I have no interest in the Classical Music, Podcasts or TV categories)
File metadata: checkmark the box
Delete from the device: all unselected files
And on MMW's side,
Sync List: checkmark Music and Playlists; under Music, checkmark "All Music"
Is this correct? Or am I making a mistake somewhere?
The reason I ask is because the last time I tried to sync, MMA started to erase songs, so I'm guessing I messed up the settings somewhere. I'd like to get some confirmation this time and make sure that doesn't happen again.
Can I get some confirmation for these settings to imitate iTunes sync?
