Which AAC codec within codec pack

Hi,
Can you tell me, which AAC codec (i.e. Apple, Nero) is used in MM5 codec pack 3.0.7. In my opinion MM AAC codec sounds a little worse in comparison with ITunes.
But maybe I‘m wrong.

I have not being able to find any difference when playing RAW decoded files, only thing I have noticed that iTunes appy some sort of Post processing to playback eg. like bit of EQ to output.
