Hi, I am using a Samsung S22 FE and as of today I can't access the app any longer. Whenever I open it, it immediately says: "to use media monkey please give it access to your media files".
I can only choose exit and continue. Exit just closes the app and with continue nothing happens.
I checked the general settings and MM does have access to alle media files (photos, videos, music and audio) so now I am stuck. How can I solve this?
Thanks for your adive,
Chris

Hi,
Please upgrade to latest MMA 2.0 version by going to ⋮ -> About MediaMonkey -> Register for beta testing and follow steps till it show upgrade in Play store.
It should fix all of your problems.

Re: Android: Access to media files
Same problem as CVDK - upgrading to beta version did NOT correct the problem
Re: Android: Access to media files
uninstall and install again from play store took care of the problem
Re: Android: Access to media files
Yes, uninstall and reinstall worked for me also. Be sure to keep music files when uninstalling.

Thanks for the feedback and clues--using them we were able to replicate this issue by rejecting the prompt to grant permissions.
Your workaround works fine, but we hope to fix it nonetheless. Tracking at:
