Spotify skins - MonkeyRok 5.1 updates (2010-05-06)

Hi all.
I am looking something stylish & sporty skins for my black berry
curve phone.Will you suggest me some sites.

I love this skin, but recently I've noticed that all of my dialog boxes are cut off at the bottom. Here is an example.


I anyone else experiencing this?

I noticed it on Windows Vista. On XP it's fine. On Win7 I don't know.

Seems to do this only with that particular message box.
All other message boxes seem OK.

I had noticed this also. It seems to have disappeared in the newest versions of MM. It's great when things fix themselves.

It is still happening to me. I'm running MM 3.2.0.1294 on Win7 64-bit

It must be something specific to your setup as I'm on 1294, Windows7 64-bit as well and it's okay for me.

That's strange. I just upgraded to latest 3.2.1294 and it's doing it for me too, Windows XP SP2.

Actually, yours looks like mine Eyal ..... the very bottom is shaded darker so I'm assuming that's the way it's supposed to be?

I think it would have been nice to see the "Now Playing" track, file type and bitrate somewhere on the MediaMonkey skin.

Also. The Minimize Player and Switch to Micro Player buttons seem to be around the wrong way in MiniPlayer mode.
And always on top state seems to be on all the time for me in that mode.

Tooltips are not working for the Play buttons on the MonkeyRok skin.

But a nice skin overall.

Yes I almost done with another new skin, I will improve Spotify soon.

The "Minimize Player" and "Switch to Micro Player" buttons are OK, and they follow main window logic. Don't you think?
I think it depends on your Minimization settings (Tools|Options|General). Mine is set yo "Minimize to MiniPlayer".

What do you mean by Top State? You can enable/disable "Allways on top" state and Transparency by right-clicking the MiniPlayer.

In this skin, MonkeyRok's player buttons are icons instead of jpegs images. That could explain why.

This skin would be absolutely perfect, if only Song, Artist, Album, rating and bitrate were displayed in the player. (I tried the song information add-on, and I really don't like it). Unfortunately, these are things that I can't live without. It seems as though you might be making that happen in the next update, though, so I can't wait to see it. I'm loving the fact that it has a stop button, so few skins do! And the whole thing is just so neat and pretty, the button images are absolutely fantastic. The rating images aren't my favorite, but I could probably get used to them. I really want to make this my full-time skin, it's just the loveliest one I've seen. You really have an eye for this.

Oh, and I've never used Spotify in my life, so I just really love your design.

I'm loving the fact that it has a stop button, so few skins do!

In case you were unaware, you can access the Stop features on any skin via a right click on the Play button (or in the Play menu). It's one extra click compared to skins with a Stop button, but it's not too out of the way.

Oh, and I've never used Spotify in my life, so I just really love your design.

Same with me. I don't even know what Spotify is, yet I love this skin. It's clean, and on the darker side of things which is right up my alley. That's also why I suggested two branches to the skin some time ago. One that stuck true to the Spotify design to fulfill the initial purpose of the skin, and a second that fused the overall theme with design features and the like that Monkey users have become accustomed to. Bring in the Spotify crowd as well as those who love the look for the color scheme and general design but want something a little more Monkey-like.

Eyal's doing a great job with this skin though, and I look for it to remain mine for some time.
