Win 10 & MM v4.1.9.1752

Post by steviegt »

Just updated to Win 10. Since then I can no longer just "Minimize" MM to the taskbar. There is no underscore in the upper right corner. I have to right click on the Title Bar and select Minimize from the menu. The only options available using MM in top right corner is X to close, Squares to Restore down & what's initially labeled as when hovered over says Minimize which is actually when clicked is Change to Miniplayer or Change to Microplayer.

This and similar have been posted before. Probably being worked on but for now .. Quite often the - is actually under something else. On this pc it looks a works just fine. On my 'server' down arrow over the top of the -. It still works but can be hard to see. And of course you can click the Monkey on the top left to minimize also.

I have had the same Problems since ALL! versions of MM with Windows Vista, 7, 8 and now 10. And it has no Connection with any of the design Skins, unless You disable all of them then You would see the crappy overlay "down arrow" as posted here by some other guy. The Minimize Button BEFORE Windows 10 had an "area" of 3x3 Pixel (upper right above the overlay graphic which was smaller than the Windows button size) where I still could click and have the window minimized. Since Windows 10 this button has no function at all. This button should be left alone and the overlay of the button be removed so that Windows functions prevail. Thank You.

Just downloaded the beta build 1754, and the minimize and microplayer buttons are VISUALLY seperated, but still within the "area" that the Windows Minimize Button's UI is designed for. This looks VERY awkward. Also clicking on the right side allows you to Minimize MediaMonkey.

Please, find a way to add a 4th button for Microplayer, or drop it and have a NORMAL Minimize Button.

We are, but as beside obvious UI look issue primary bug is fixed and we are now doing in deep hammerring of bugs and tests to see what Windows 10 brought to us.

I just installed Windows 10, and have the same problem others noted earlier in the year: the minimize button looks like it's been combined with another button, and it no longer minimizes but goes to micro or mini player. Options > General > Minimization settings say "Minimize to taskbar". Thanks for any suggestions.

Windows Taskbar > Toolbars > Untick MediaMonkey Player

Shouldn't have to do this of course, and the weird ugly overlap of the minimize button is still there, but it now doesn't give the option to minimize to micro or mini player (or whatever options were there previously)

Scrap that, worked briefly then reverts to annoying type
