How do I connect my Zen vision M to media monkey?

do I need to set my zen up as removable media?

I'm not sure what is necessary, but I already had the sync software installed that came with the ZVM.
Then I installed MediaMonkey.
Then, whenever I plug in the ZVM using USB, a window pops up showing a list of options. One of them is "Synchronize with MediaMonkey". Pick that one, and you're set.

Go into MM, Tools -> Options -> Portable devices.
The plugin for your ZVM is showing in the list of plugins. Select it and click Configure to set your sync options. I have it set to sync the entire library, and autosynchronize.

Assuming you're using XP, MM should find the player. Removable media in the zen only works for data files, not music tracks.
