ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
don't make promises you can't keep
Word is bond.
NEVER SHOULD HAVE SAID YOU WERE ABOUT TO RELEASE SOMETHING 6 MONTHS AGO.
Just matter of word is bond. When no money is involved, that's all you got.

You have missed the point. Scripters who contribute to MM are NOT paid, and they are NOT beholding to anyone or anything on this forum.
I am sure when psyxonova said he was starting a new version he had every intention of doing just that, but as with all things, often the business of life just gets in the way.
If you were paying for ScrobblerDJ you would have ever right to make demands, but your not, therefore you need to learn a bit of patience, tact and respect.

Guest, you are soooo wrong! It was first announced less than 4 months ago:

ALMOST ALL FEATURES requested plus much more will be implemented...

And he never said he was about to release anything - he said he was working on it!psyxonova (06/08/2006) wrote:the new version will be ready when i have the time to finish it....

Well, since i said it a lot of things had happened in my life. Those included moving to another Country and starting a PhD.
Both of them required and still require from me a lot of energy.
Anyway, i dont regret for speaking about new ScrobblerDJ. When i did it I was certain i had the time and besides that, i was looking for a feedback on my ideas i was hoping to implement.
Nothing has change. I am still trying to post it as soon as possible. Its just that my time is very limited now.
So, those of you who cant wait any longer consider the development of ScrobblerDJ as paused. Further notice on how the development is going you will get about 1 minute before the release time.
The rest of you... thanks for standing by me. I am always plz to inform you. You can PM me or mail me any time.
Besides that i keep regular contact with some of you so you KNOW what is going on here.
BTW Guest I understand the words are bonds. But this is true only if you can identify the one who said the words... So, i must admit not using a username is very clever of you. At least none is going to support that you dont keep your words....

Yes word is bound. Like you said when there is no money the word is only thing you can hold on. Imagine that even when you know that there is no money involved you still want to support all those user that supported your work. In some cases you must pay to support them and like you said you have nothing in return.
If you really hold him for his words than you also should hold yourself for patience and support of his work.

I think he meant the debug option in the script options... this creates a scrobblerdj log file in the auto script folder.
New script: Last.FM Node Now with DJ Mode!
Last.fm + MediaMonkey = Scrobbler DJ!
Tag with MusicBrainz ~ Get Album Art!

I just checked in to see if there'd been any progress on the script, and was shocked to read "Guest's" comments.
I for one appreciate the hard work you and other scripters put in, and I'm happy to wait till your schedule permits you to work on it.
Don't let the comments of one selfish fool get you down.

Problem solved (for me)
Debug option now 'off'
It seems that I don't have the problem anymore.
Thanks. goodluck with the coding
