MM for Android general questions

Post by Arafel »

Due to compatibility issues with modern car stereos and iPod Classics, I've decided to try to turn a phone into an iPod via MM. I have about 170 gb in my music library. I've ported to MM from my iTunes library. Playlists are there, as are the songs. Questions about MM for Android (I'll have a 512GB S24 Ultra for it)

1) Does it show up as a media source in Android Auto?
2) I can sync to the phone from my Windows computer via a USB cable right?
3) Does MM for Android also have other music available, a la Apple Music?
4) Does album art port over? I have Apple Music via Verizon, and it's a pain in the ass with a lot of my favorite artists. It jumbles the albums together, so I can't play just an album, because everything is mislabled, and album art is completely screwed up too. One of the reasons I want to just move to MM (also, I still have DRM's music from iTunes I bought in 2005 and I can't strip it, so I have to buy it all over again. It's only 20 songs or so, but Apple's policy is pissing me off

Anything else you can tell me? I was figuring I'd just get the MM Pro on my phone. Is there a benefit to getting MM gold on my Windows system for what I want?
