No, as shown in the screenshot you should see a drop-down for Location. This you click to select the correct drive on your PC.

There were 3 items in the Location : C:(OS); (OS) and YouTube. Should I remove the two and keep C:(OS) only?

You need to change (OS), it likely is the one with the original files (and files on Playlists).

Sorry, I don't get what you mean. What do you mean by : You need to change (OS)? And how?

You need to use Media Properties on the (OS) entry in Location.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Should I remove the other 2 drives and keep the one with (OS) only? Then open its Media Property and click OK?

Can't say for certain. You'd normally want to fix the old (no drive letter) drive before scanning files in. As you already have C it indicates that you scanned before fixing. This can be a problem if you scanned files you're trying to fix. You can remove the C drive, then fix the (OS) drive.

So I just open the Media Property of the OS drive and click OK, that's it?

Hello Lowlander,

I have tried to reassign using all both "C" and "C(OS)". I went to each Media Property and click OK, nothing changed, songs still failed to play.

Did the (OS) drive actually change in Location? If not, remove the C drive, then change the (OS) drive.

I removed the C drive but after I restart MM5, it kept coming back.

It seems that MM5 couldn't locate my songs in my laptop which is located in the iTunes Music folder.

Hello Lowlander,

I know exactly where my songs are located and they are in neither of the 2 drives in the Location tab. Is there any way to add a new drive to the Location?

Thank you.

Then you may have Folder Monitoring enabled. Disable it, remove C again and then try re-assigning (OS).
