Song titles / Artist tags

Post by Gamer187Ghost »

Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I did not see it when I looked. I am a total Newbie to Media Monkey. When I am ripping CD's with MM, it finds the artists name, the album name, and the song titles. However, when it rips them to my computer, it labels them as "Unknown", and "01 Unknown - Track01". I have to rename them all. I am pretty sure it is something I am doing wrong, but I can not figure it out. . . . ..

Hi,
That is strange, if you insert CD and in MM tree you select CD it should show correct info and also on RIP it should use that metadata to create destination path and filenames?

Make sure you are using latest MM 5.1 build from https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d

Filenames depend on the Mask you use as Destination in the Rip dialog.

What Mask are you using?
