There is a new update (1.3.2) that has fixed finding of tracks which started playing from outside of MM. Thanks for the report.

@MMFrLife - You have perfectly described the scenario!!! (sorry but i'm not a native speaker)
I will add something to scenario 1:
- i've played tracks that are not in my library, from different folders inside MyComputer, and the add-on worked perfectly.
Why it doesn't work with Desktop folder ? Technically is in My Computer:\C:\Users\nameoftheuser\Desktop folder.
Later edit: it looks like the script does not work inside the C partition, it doesn't matter if its "Desktop" folder or any other folder.
Off-topic : can any of you help me with this problem?

There is new version of the add-on that works with MM v5.
