Folder structure when downloading files over UPnP / DLNA

Post by cvrkut »

I like to keep folder structure when downloading files over UPnP / DLNA just like Portable Device Sync (\Music\<Album Artist>\<Year> - <Album>\<Filename>).
Is it possible and how?

Are you downloading from the MediaMonkey Server, and if so with what, or using MediaMonkey to download from a DLNA server?

When I connect to DLNA, select a song and then download it, the file is stored on a previously selected location but in a folder structure:
  • (\Music\<Album Artist>-<Album>\<Filename>)
but I want a folder structure just like Portable Device Sync
  • (\Music\<Album Artist>\<Year> - <Album>\<Filename>).
I want to use the same location for download over DLNA and Wi-Fi sync
Is it possible and how?

No, that is not possible, for that you'll have to use sync.

Thank you for respond!

I found a workaround for now.

I use MediaMonkey Remote to add a song to the playlist selected to keep synced and later normally sync with MediaMonkey.
