Playlists are not sorted in the right order when using the UPnP function [#15435]

Post by Dynamic990 »

Hello everyone!

When I call up a playlist in MediaMonkey for Android Pro 1.3.3.0842 via the UPnP function, the titles are always sorted alphabetically and not in the order of the playlist.

In other Android apps (e.g. foobar2000 or VLC for Android) or hardware players (e.g. Cocktail Audio N15D) the titles are in the correct order. That is why I think it is a problem with MMA and not with the server software. As UPnP/DNLA server I use MediaMonkey Gold 4.1.23.1881.

If this is a bug, maybe it can be fixed in a future version.

Many thanks for the great software.

Greetings

Hello Lowlander,

Thank you for the quick answer. Then the bug was obviously fixed.

I will not install the beta version for now. I am waiting for the next release and give feedback if it works.

Thanks again for your reply.

Cheers

Hi,
MMA 849 Beta version is More RC version than Beta as Google do not have Release Candidate option. It is fairly safe to install and any additional feedback would help us to make it stable as soon as possible.

Hello Pavle,

I just installed the MMA beta version 1.3.4.0849 and tested the UPnP function. So far the sorting of the playlists works correctly in this version.

I will continue to use the beta version now and post it in this forum if I notice any problems with it.

Thank you all for your support!

Cheers

PS: I'm sorry if I reported the error for a second time. I first searched for information about the problem in the forum, but unfortunately found nothing.
