This might be regarded as a bug, but I'll treat it as a wish list item.
Often when I'm building a playlist or otherwise working with my music (as opposed to just listening), I want to hear the beginning of a track, and then jump to the end to hear the last 15-30 seconds or so. I want to know what the end of one song sounds like to help me select the next song for the playlist or to decide if I want to crossfade to the next song or not.
The problem is, clicking toward the end of the progress bar doesn't always take you to the end of the song. Sometimes the counter goes to 0:00 but the song still has many seconds or sometimes minutes yet to play. I'm GUESSING that the culprit is mp3 VBR encoding on some tracks, and MM can't always navigate within a track very well.
So my wish list item is that MM somehow acquire the ability to ALWAYS be able to navigate within a track by the user clicking at the desired place on the progress bar. I have no idea if this is feasible, but it would be appreciated.
