Amazon - artwork

Post by billinvegas »

Hello,

the past couple of days it seems that all of the amazon sites (with the exception of amazon japan) return a
"Couldn't show results HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request" error.

Is there a way to circumvent this? Is there a way to use a different website / service other than Amazon to retrieve artwork?

There is an issue with affiliate partnering with Amazon more info and possible workarounds can be read here http://www.mediamonkey.com/broken-auto-tag.htm?l=en

Also have the same problems! So I installed Discogs!
After the successful installation of Discogs, I should still create an account there.
But I don't want to!!!
Was so far very happy with media monkey but so missing for me is a crucial feature!

(This text has been translated with a program. I apologize for mistakes!)

What old version you are referring to? I just tested version 3.9.14 and there is no mention of Amazon, same thing with MP3Tag and few others.

In order to fight abuse Discogs requires an active Discogs account to allow you to use their services.

Tag&Rename 3.9.5, tools/load album titles from amazon-tracktype.org

But unfortunately respond today, only with amazon.ca & tracktype.org

Happy new year...

Every time I try to Auto-Tag from Web on an album, I get this error "Couldn't show results.
HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request", and I have the latest update. I also have the Gold Version (paid version).

So looks like MMW is not the only one. Well it was worth till it lasted. Now lets make it even better.

Yet again, HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

Post by Detlef P »

After updating to the current version, I get the following message:

Result could not be shown
HTTP / 1.1 400 Bad Request

This message appears when calling, Auto Taggen from the Internet.
This message I had 2-3 years ago!
What is going wrong!

Was läuft da schief!

Back in 2009 there was similar change on Amazon where MMW 3.1 and older stopped working. Now they again made another change in affiliate partnering program.

More info and workarounds can be read here http://www.mediamonkey.com/broken-auto-tag.htm?l=en
