Saving latest inputs to the MM.DB file
Unfortunately,I have had to transfer my MM.DB file to a brand new Windows 10 desktop computer after my old Windows 7 computer crashed yet again.During this morning,I made a note of the size of the MM.DB file, which I found in C/Users/Name/AppData/Roaming/MediaMonkey.The size of the file was 24,547MB. Over 3 hours later after inputting more CD's into my playlist, the size of the MM.DB file remained the same.I was informed before that the MM.DB file is automatically updated when closing MM down.Well, this does not seem to be the case ! I then went into Optimise Database and the size reduced to 23,784MB.I am just worried and concerned, that if for some reason,I have to transfer the MM.DB file back again to a new hard drive, the latest updated file will not be transferred.Any comments or help on this matter would be most appreciated.Regards.Peter
Re: Saving latest inputs to the MM.DB file
The database size doesn't change every time you make changes. This is expected. It will first fill empty space, before increasing file size.
