Windows 10, 64bit
MM: 4.1.10.1778
iTunes: 12.3.2.35
iPod Touch: 4th gen
iOS: 6.1.6
I previously had no issue with my win7 laptop but this computer is having the following issue when syncing music
- transfer is slow
- did not delete previously synced music/playlists from ipod
- music may or may not sync, when it does it is grayed out
*I looked into getting a debug log but I read it doesn't support Win10

I am in the exact same situation. When I send tracks to my iPod the bar at the bottom of the screen shows the tracks syncing but no music makes it onto the iPod.
Re: Issues syncing 4th Gen iPod Touch / Win10
If you have iTunes, see if it shows up on your device. I have noticed that on the odd time music is transferred, but MM labels it on the device as "other" not "music"; but if you check the device using iTunes, it shows up like normal - if you check the device itself it will not be shown or may be grayed out.
Re: Issues syncing 4th Gen iPod Touch / Win10
I guess I'm SOL with my gold membership. I was hoping to ditch iTunes but the iTunes Device plug-in is currently my only hope.

Hi,
Can you please open support tickets?
Additionally
Note: Unfortunately iTunes needs to be installed when Apple iOS device is used.

What are you referring to both MMW and DBGView support Windows 10?kopoloko wrote:*I looked into getting a debug log but I read it doesn't support Win10

Re: Issues syncing 4th Gen iPod Touch / Win10
I know MMW supports win10, but when I read documentation on DBGView it didn't list win10 as a supported platform. Naturally I didnt want to install something that is incompatible, so I looked into it further and DBGView for win10 is supposed to be added via an upcoming SDK.Peke wrote:What are you referring to both MMW and DBGView support Windows 10?

I have submitted a ticket along with the appropriate files.

kopoloko -- Have you had any response to your ticket submission? I just submitted one as well with the same problem.

Yes, we're still working through the issues. It was delayed a bit on my end. Being under the weather I somehow neglected to install the debug version of MM.
Re: Issues syncing 4th Gen iPod Touch / Win7
This is what worked for me.
I have an iTunes version 12.2.2.25 installed. (I don't know if it'll work on the latest)
(With my iTouch still connected) I uninstalled the 'Apple Mobile Device Support' (Control Panel->Programs and Features)
After that my computer instantly recognized my device. Don't open iTunes yet, it won't work.
Now download/install 'Anytrans' version 5.2 from iMobie Inc. After installing, open Anytrans and it will give you an option
to install from iTunes or download from the internet. (the necessary software which is the Apple Mobile Device Support)
Choose download from the internet. (After the download and the automatic install) Anytrans AND iTunes should now recognize your device.
P.S Check the cord/cable as well. sometimes it is THE problem.
