1. Do I have to update this line in the script:

Dim Types : Types = Array("asd")

to include all the file extensions I want to move?

If so, do I separate them with commas - like this: Array("asd, jpg, gif, txt, lrc")

Thanks.

2. I know that MediaMonkey already moves files if you empty a folder during auto-organize, but presumably it won't move the files that are in a subfolder?

Thanks again.

1) No, it needs to be like this... Array("asd","jpg","gif","txt","lrc")

2) I've no idea, sorry.

hi, just discovered this script today. exactly what i'm looking for.

i've tried it out and love it. however, it only works with Copy, and not Sync. Perhaps thats the way it's supposed to be, but is there any plan to make it work with Sync as well? Currently copy will only drop the FLAC and cue files to music folder on my player (an android phone in this case), and not creating sub-folder, which is how i usually get with sync. thanks

Terrific Trix !

After helping organize a 25k cdg collection, this script will help save mxm files (MixMeister, not Traktor) for another 80k. Not sure if I donated already, will have to check that :)

Currently running (1.1, just noticed) in MM4.03. I wonder if the script can have anything to do with auto organize taking forever. I think not, since plain tagging is sluggish too, but if anyone using this script has the same experience... System is xp.

Thanks a lot, your scripting ability and kind sharing don't go unnoticed :)

I've been using this script without a problem for a while, but just now it is throwing an error that crashes MM 4.06 gold:

Error#7 VBSScript runtime error
Out of Memory 'fso.FolderExists'
Line 71 Col 2

I was doing an auto-organize to copy and add to library folders/files from a local HDD to NAS, with same filename/folder structure on the target. I don't need Move Files for this operation, and it shouldn't find any buddy files to move (copy?) so it's easy enough just to deactivate for this operation/not a pressing problem.

Edit:
OK did some testing and see now that it is probably a permissions problem on the NAS share I didn't have read/write access on the folder contents (found out after turning off Move Files MM4 gave an error).

If depends on where you've installed it. Try %appdata%\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\

It a pity that these important information is hidden away in the thread.

Appreciate it.

I have this script installed and working to rename and move my CDG files for karaoke. But I found out the hard way that if auto organize is active for scans and edits that it does not rename the files when edits are made.

So, as long as I have this turned off, I can rename files, then select the files and perform an "Auto-organize files" and all is good. But if I make an edit while "automatically organize files (during scans or edits)" is active... then it renames the music file but not the buddy file.

Is there something I can do besides just remembering to turn this off before I edit karaoke files?

Thank you for the great scripts by the way.
