Help with tags

Post by Fraxav »

A lot of my WMAs recently 'lost' their DRM and I couldn't play them anymore, so I had to re-download them all. The old tracks have all their tags nicely filled with data and album art, while the new ones of course have empty tags.
I'm looking for a way to copy the tags data from the old songs to the news. The old song and the new song will have only artist and song name in common.
Workarounds, tools, scripts, anything is welcome put please don't tell me I have to re-fill the data manually!
Thanks!

You should be able to do it with Copy/Paste Metadata function of Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix script by Bex.
Skins for MediaMonkey: Cafe, Carbon, Helium, Spotify, Zekton. [ Wiki Zone ].

Sorry, does anyone know if some similar script exists which could take data from an excel sheet and paste it to the related song tag (again basing on artist and song title)? And/or the other way round too?
