Is there a faster way to send a song to a playlist than right click / send to / playlist / name of playlist?
Thanks!

You could simply drag it then drop it onto your playlist in the tree.

Yeah, I should have added that in the first post. I do that from time to time, but I have a very large library and that usually involves either constantly scrolling down or opening and closing nodes. Ideally I would like a way to have the send to playlist option on the first menu of a right click on a selected song, but that may not be possible I guess.

In MM 3.1 you can enable a toolbar button that allows you to send the currently selected tracks to any playlist:

Ah perfect! Thanks nohitter, I'd been meaning to go ahead and try the beta anyway. That is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
Gotta love the community around this product, I hadn't even finished making my playlist and already got the response I need. Thanks!

You can use Playlist Sandbox script. It's working fine in MM 3.0.

Under Tools > Options > Player (I think) you can also set how you want MM to respond to a double-click. Default it will immediately play whatever track you double click I think. But I changed it so that double-clicking a file sends it to the end of my Now Playing list.
For multiple tracks or entire albums you can always drag&drop multiple selections to your Now Playing list as well.

Ok but the original question was sending tracks to playlists, not to Now Playing!Breydel wrote:Under Tools > Options > Player (I think) you can also set how you want MM to respond to a double-click.
