Analog output meter for the player

Post by Michael Vogel »

Hi, just saw a picture of the player AIMP, which seems to have nice instruments < Picture > !
Is something like that also possible with the MediaMonkey?

yes that can be done in skinning but that will take alot of work and will be just images for the volume meter.
as a matter of fact if you look at the skin i made trucking monkey, the floating player there is using a analog needle for its meter now. only its a cb radio meter that goes sideways not the sweeping wave image you see in that other player.

getting them to work as a real meter will need to be done by plugins. all you can get in the skin is an image meter that works on the loudness of the song file's volume dynamic's
