The problem Recides becouse MM use ODBC Calla from Office 2000 and higher So you need to upgrade to those.

1. Solution is that you start installing Office XP and on on first Setup he will update your System Settings which will solve your problem.

db problem

Post by rusty »

Just a bit of clarification:

Although MediaMonkey's database can be read via Access 2000, MediaMonkey does not require that users install a version of Office 2000 (or higher) as a prerequisite.

It does, however, require the MS Jet 4.0 engine and MDAC components > 2.1. By default, Windows 2000, ME, and XP include these. Windows 9x and NT don't, unless an application comtaining them (Office, Access, Excel, etc.) has been installed.

Microsoft's site is kind of vague, but seems to indicate that installing the latest MDAC components and MS Jet engine update for W9x/NT does install the complete jet engine. Apparently though, it is important to install these components in the correct order (MDAC first, then Jet engine), and to reset the PC as instructed.

Please let me know if this solves the problem.
