Post by Thotep »

In Songs-DB there was an option to "create" or select an specific mask (format) that one use to give names to mp3 and then the program, knowing it, it extracts the informations like one use. I use cd's to store my mp3, and the format i use to give them names is <%T. %S - %A>
and MediaMonkey uses by default <%A - %T> to extract information from the mp3's filename and i don't how to change it, tell it that i use another format!!!!! please help me!!!!

Yes, that setting was removed from MediaMonkey, because it caused some confusion, we plan return it to the Options dialog in a modified form later. However, until then there is still a way how to modify the masks used by default for parsing filenames during scanning: Turn off MediaMonkey and edit MediaMonkey.ini file - section [SongMasks], where you can set which masks to use and with which priority. Then restart MM and it should work fine.
