.ape files and inability to import

Post by Philip »

I cannot seem to import .ape files into MM even though I downloaded the plugin, etc.
It scans the folder and nothing appears.
Also, if I navigate to an .ape file and try to play it, it just appears greyed out.
Help appreciated

Is the plug-in properly installed in MediaMonkey\Plugins folder? If yes, then you should see it in 'Options/Input Plug-ins' and would be able to configure the plug-in there. If all this is ok, then playback and scanning should work well.

The plugin available for download on your site is old IN_MAC.dll whereas what acctually worked was IN_APE.dll which comes packaged with the main Monkey's Audio program 3.98.

Ok, thanks, it looks like the plug-in hasn't been updated on WinAmp's plug-ins list, we will review which one is the best to link.
