ION Skin v 0.6

I have trouble closing artwork with the MonkeyRok ION Skin.

I find that I have to be very precise on the "X" to close it. I don't have this problem with other MonkeyRok Skins.

Actual iam satisfied with the player layout,nice and clear and when you minimze the theme to the smallest size (600) you will see there is no mutch space for extra infos,the only place is on right side.

but you can try this,

open player ini and copy this inside:

and what you mean with closing Art work with MonkeyRok?
If you mean to close MonkeyRok with the close buttom from panel caption, this looks ok here.

Well, with this skin, it is not as responsive when closing a MonkeyRok album art.

ION Skin has become my fav skin as it's the only one which looks amazing and something you would expect to find with winamp.

Only a few issues with the ION-V skin is that the top title bar (with Mediamonkey and minimise/close buttons) should be violet too to blend with the skin. It should also be shrunk a little bit, just knock a few lines off.

With the normal ION skin, the bar with files/size/time/free space on it should be moved above the playback controls.

Besides that, i think your skin should be the default for Mediamonkey 4 (If they are making it that is)

I agree with all of this.
And I wholeheartedly agree that your skins should be included with the new MediaMonkey builds. Ion and especially Noir are wonderful.

Regarding the up and down arrows in the bottom right corner.

The Down arrow's tooltip reads "Switch to micro player".
The Up arrow's tooltip reads "Minimize player".

The Up arrow doesn't minimize the player for me.

Very strange then. I have just tested this on 2 computers.
Have you tried (starting and) using the arrows in the Maximized state?

If you click on that in the maximised state, it does not Minimize. It switches to MiniPlayer.

Yes, I was wrong. I was testing the arrows from the miniplayer, not the maximized state. They seem to function as expected from the miniplayer. That is, the up arrow maximizes and the down arrow switches to microplayer.
From the maximized window the up arrow switches to miniplayer and the down arrow switches to microplayer. This seems like expected behavior too. I guess it would be more clear if the tooltip for the up arrow read "switch to miniplayer" rather than "minimize player". But it is sort of the same thing?

The Up and down arrows was never a problem , i use the same mini/maxi/restore style buttons in Eclipse and Agora skin.

MR Skin:
i just change some images/colors in the MR skin ,so it must work like all other MR Skins.


For the changes i have to think about,and want try some of them, but first i want wait for the MM3.1 final release.

DreadM, Very nice skin. Any chance of getting a MonkeyRok wide skin for ION-V v0.6? I use MonkeyRok with the default wide skins now to get a two column view in the middle panel. The ION-V MR skin appears as a single column. Thanks for a great skin.

Well i got no plans to make more Mr Skins for ion ,
but you can try this:

Open MM folder / Scripts / MonkeyRok / skins copy Ion-V and rename to Ion-V wide,
than open the new file with an editor Prog. and copy this inside the skin.css at the end:
