What is the text in text.bmp

Post by MoDementia »

I hope someone has gone to the trouble of working out all the characters in text.bmp. I can get most but a section of line 2 and 1 before "=" and most of line 3 are a mystery.

Code: Select all

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"@
0123456789 -'!_+\/[]^&% =$#

The one before the equals is a comma [,] isn't it?

In the middle of line 2, on the left of the hyphen [-] is an open and close bracket [( )] and on the left of that is a colon [:]. Not sure about the one on the left of that though.

The rest are foreign characters. The one on the left of the [?] looks like an A with an umlaut (Chr 142) and then one on the left of that looks like an O with an umlaut (Chr 153).

I'm guessing that you try to look at OEM DOS ASCII Character page and see if they look same.

The three first characters in third line is:
Ä (Chr 196), Ö (Chr 214), Å (Chr 197)

They are not foreign to me! :D
