I run the latest MM (4.1.9.1764) on 64bit win10. I am getting random playback errors of FLAC files that reside on a network drive (samba). When an error occurs, the playback starts to loop and there is audible distortion in the audio. As if the player could read broken audio stream. If I play the same file with e.g. VLC or my SqueezeBox player the file plays all fine. So the FLAC files are fine. Also there seem not be any read I/O bottleneck since the network drive provides ~ 100MB/s read speeds over 1Gb Ethernet.
Any help how to debug?

Which output plugin are you using? Does playing the file again still result in the same issue?

Re: Random playback errors of FLACs on network drive (win10)
Hi, I use "MediaMOnkey DirectSound output" / "out_MMDS.dll". The same playback error repeates in exactly same spot if I replay the file. Only restart of MediaMonkey helps.

You may want to try a different Output Plugin.
