I keep on getting a error message about database locked

I keep on getting an error that says Error executing SQL..... database is locked.

Do you have any other programs running while this happens, multiple instances of MM,
perhaps? Shutdown if so, to test. Disable antivirus temporarily as well.

Retry MM behavior.

Does this happen when you start up or at other times. Is there a repeatable pattern? Do you have the service installed? What version of MMW are you using?

I am getting this running multiple instances so I can mix the music and I am now getting this message. It does not occur with a single instance and it occurs when the track ends. I am wondering what you are updating at the end or the beginning of a track and is there a way to turn the update off?

Tools > Options > Tags & Playlists has the option to save tag changes to file.
