4.1.0.1692 pause fails when running as a UPnP control point

Post by cyberman »

Running MM 4.1.0.1692 (in Windows8) as a UPnP/DLNA control point for a Marantz NA7004 network player via a MiniDLNA server - when pressing the pause button the renderer does not pause and the button toggles back to play mode after about one second.

Tested in the same environment with MM 4.1.0.1672 - this build works correctly with the Marantz NA7004 renderer.

Tested both builds MM 4.1.0.1692 and MM 4.1.0.1672 with a WDLiveTV renderer - both builds work correctly with this renderer.

I too am facing this issue. The player option is set to UPnP/DLNA. The target is a Pioneer VSX-1023.

Playback begins as expected and I am able to change tracks as well. However the pause button has no effect. A double click on the play button will restart the current track. I have been unable to stop/pause playback without closing the program. Windows 8.1.

This is with version 4.1.7.1741. I was unable to locate the logs. Hope this helps in tracking down this issue.

You should capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69 This hopefully gives the developers insight into the problem.
