Media monkey & windows 8 pro [#9913]
On Windows 8 WUDFHost.exe fires up with MM and consumes 50% or more CPU continuously until MM shuts down. It significantly slows response of the OS. Where do I put in a bug report?

WUDFHosts.exe slows MM under Windows 8
WUDFHosts.exe fires up and consumes 50% CPU or more (usually more) and remains high until MM is shut down. This is occurring under Windows 8 pro (64 bit) on Athalon 64 processor with 3 gig ram. Reoccurs with every launch of MM.

The problem is caused by a change in how Windows 8 interacts with portable drives--it shouldn't occur indefinitely, but rather, only as long as it takes to scan the drive. See details of the issue / workarounds at:
