song number is stuck to title

why is the song number stuck to the "column" ? if you move the "title" column off to the left or the right the song number goes with it.

should not the song number be always be independent of the "title" ? i would like to arrange my collection in this format:

[song number][artist][title]

but i cannot get the song number to separate from the title. arrghhh.

by the song number i mean, the number that is associated with the total mp3s in your system. starts from 1 and goes up.

so how do i fix it ? or is a real bug ?

oh... by the song number i do not mean the same thing as "track #". just look at the "title" column and you will see a number. see if you can get these two to split up.

In certain nodes and the Now Playing window there is a song number added to the title. This shows the place of the song on the particular list you are viewing.

It has been requested before that either this number is dropped or put in a seperate column (so user can choose to show or hide it).
