[SOLVED] 1824: DLNA movie plays After shutting down FIXED

Post by dtsig »

1) shut down MMW and check task mgr to be sure it has shut down.
2) start mmw
3) select a movie from mmw server and dclick for plan

Nothing happens
Shut down MMW and after 15-20 seconds the audio from the movie starts

4) start up MMW and it appears to work as normal .. i can play music locally but no movie
5) shut down MMW and it continues to play
6) go to task mgr and shut down the instance of mmw still running and the movie stops

Both mmw 1824 both win10

Note that the video post shows up and the play button changes to pause.

If I understand correctly, are you playing videos in MMW and from the same instance of MMW but via MMW -> Media Servers -> <MMW server> ... when port is set to 4000?
Which video formats?

I am just testing it playing WMV streams in MMW and the playback doesn't seem to start at all. I believe this uded to work.

This appears to be working correctly in the new beta 1826. I will keep testing with various files
