Sound analysis issue

Post by rovingcowboy »

When the volume of a song is analyzed mmw does it in idle priority. The issue is that the analysis will stop playback until the tags are updated that has the effect of stopping playback completely, but if I put the priority into normal or highest then it allows the playback to work but with pauses or stopping and starting.
Keep in mind that I have always had the mm exe, mouse, mm decoder dll, in real time priority. And I have the computer cpu over clocked. Regular priorities if used would never allow the mouse to be moved or the playback to be paused thusly giving the non tweaking computer users the completely locked or frozen screen. Should be an easy fix? Just make the volume analysis have the normal priority instead of the idle one.
