MMW forgets albumart filename

I have had this problem for along time with multiple versions of MMW. I originally thought it was caused by my old WinXP PC because it was getting very bloated and full of corruptions, therefore I didn't log it as a bug.
However I've just got a brand spanking new Win8 PC, installed MMW1700 and the problem is still there.
This is the normal settings I use.

But quite often it reverts to this. Sometimes multiple times per session.


I have transfered the DB over but surely it isn't a DB problem?

That looks like the default settings. Are you loosing other settings changes on restart? Are you sure MediaMonkey is closing properly (disappears from Task Manager) as settings are saved during closing. I tried and modified the filename and it stuck on restart.

It's not just happening when restarting. It happens even miss session. When MMW hasn't even shut down.

The only extensions are last FM, mm codec pack and a skin.
I have no additional scripts but what installed by default.

Well I've installed the debug version, and the issue has never happened since. Go figure.

I'm gonna re-install normal version and see if I get the problem again.

This has happened twice. 2 problems and as soon as I report them. They miraculously disappear. Lol.

Don't feel bad. There is a saying in Science that just by observing something we change its nature.

It doesn't make sense but as a coder of many many years I can tell you that this is true. We rely on the confluence of the stars to keep all software running
